My role is to make sure our people have what they need to do their best work. When the team feels supported, the clinic feels supported. It is a simple idea, but it drives every decision we make.
I believe in an upside-down pyramid. Leadership is at the bottom. Our job is to hold up the people who face the clinic every day. That means removing barriers, giving them the tools they need, and backing them when they make decisions for a clinic under pressure.
This approach creates a strong culture. People know they can ask questions, share ideas and step in when someone needs help. We work as one team. There is no hierarchy in how we communicate. Anyone in the business can call me anytime.

One example that will stay with me is a busy day when a clinic called about a snake bite case. They had already received their order and were out of antivenom. We found the product, and I drove it out myself. The dog survived. It was the clinic owner’s dog.
Moments like that show what Cenvet stands for. We do what needs to be done.
